• Bull Lodge Guest House - Bull Lodge, Bull Lane, is East-South-East of York centre, situated 40 yards off Lawrence Street, the A1079 main York to Hull Road. The city walls at Walmgate Bar and the inner Ring Road, (the A1036), the Barbican Swimming Pool, Leisure and Conference Centre are just a quarter of a mile.
The University of York campus and Business Science Park is half a mile. It is an easy level walk into the centre. For the fit and able it takes about 15 minutes to the centre, about 20 minutes to the Minster. Pavements have sloping, tactile surfaces at crossing points enabling easier, safer journeying for disabled, elderly and wheelchair persons
